About the Archive
Librarium Militaris is an index of competitive Warhammer 40,000 battle report footage. It does not host video. It records where a game can be found, who fought it, what they brought and how it ended, so that one engagement can be reached in seconds rather than hunted for across a stream that runs for most of a day.

What is indexed
Competitive play, filmed and published openly. A record enters the archive when the game was played at a tournament, in a format that tournament recognises, and the footage remains publicly available. Painting logs, narrative campaigns, casual games and rules discussion are outside the remit.
Every record carries the same fields: both armies, both commanders, the event, the format, the event type, the language of the commentary, the channel that filmed it, and the date it was published, along with the final score and the victor wherever the stream stated them.
How a game is timed
Tournament channels routinely publish a whole round, or a whole day, as one continuous upload. Four or five games can sit inside a single video. Each game here is filed as its own record with its own start offset, taken by hand, so that following a link drops you at the moment that specific game begins rather than at the head of a six-hour broadcast. That offset is the archive's core work and the thing it holds that the source platform does not.
How results are recorded
Scores are transcribed from what the stream itself shows: a final scoreboard, a standing schedule card, or the on-screen player cards, depending on what a given channel publishes. Where a stream never states an outcome, the result is left empty rather than inferred from the commentary. A record with no score is still a valid record; a record with a guessed score is not.
Results are sealed by default everywhere they appear. Nothing about an outcome is shown until you ask for it, and the preference is remembered once you have. That extends past the pages themselves: the archive's link previews and its structured data are both written not to name a winner, so a result cannot reach you through a search snippet or a shared link before you have chosen to see it.
Names and corrections
Names are transcribed from tournament pairings and channel titles, with diacritics preserved. Misspellings are the likeliest error in the archive, and a commander recorded under two spellings is a commander whose games can no longer all be found, so corrections are treated ahead of new submissions. If an army, a name or a score is recorded wrongly, write to techpriests@librariummilitaris.com and it will be put right.
Submissions and removals
Anyone may propose a report. Send the video link, the timestamp the game begins, both armies, both commanders and the event, and it will be checked against the source before it is filed. A report is removed when its source video is deleted or made private, or when the channel that filmed it asks for it to be removed. Removal requests are honoured without argument.
What this archive is not
It is not a source of meta statistics. The counts on a faction page describe what has been filmed and filed here, which is a small and uneven sample of what is played, and they should not be read as win rates. Sites that work from full tournament datasets are the right place for that question, and this is not one of them.
It is also unaffiliated. This is a fan project, not endorsed by or connected to Games Workshop Limited, and it has no commercial relationship with any channel indexed here. It shares part of its name with Librarium Online, a long-running forum, and with the Librarium of Warhammer 40,000 fiction; it is neither.
