Are battle report results spoiled on this site?
No. Results are sealed by default across the whole archive. Scores and winners are hidden on every card and every report page until you choose to reveal them, one game at a time or all at once, and the preference is remembered between visits. The archive's link previews and its structured data are both written not to name a winner either, so a result cannot reach you through a search snippet or a shared link before you have asked for it.
What is the WTC in Warhammer 40,000?
The WTC is the World Team Championship, the largest international team event in competitive Warhammer 40,000. Librarium Militaris is an independent, unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by Games Workshop Limited, and it has no commercial relationship with any of the channels it indexes. Warhammer 40,000 and all associated marks are the property of Games Workshop Limited. It is not connected to Librarium Online, the forum, or to the Librarium of Warhammer 40,000 fiction, both of which share part of the name.
How is a battle report chosen for the archive?
A report is admitted when the game was played at a competitive event, both armies and both commanders can be identified with confidence, and the footage is publicly available. Painting logs, narrative campaigns, casual games and rules discussion are outside the remit. A report is removed when its source video is deleted or made private, or when the channel that filmed it asks for it to be removed.
How are the scores recorded, and can I trust them?
Scores are transcribed by hand from what the stream itself shows: the final scoreboard, the standing schedule card, or the on-screen player cards, depending on what a given channel publishes. Where a stream never states an outcome, the result is left empty rather than inferred from commentary, and the report still stands as a record of the game. A record with no score is a valid record; a record with a guessed score is not.
Why does one video hold several battle reports?
Tournament channels commonly publish an entire round, or an entire day, as a single upload with four or five games inside it. Each game is filed here as its own record with its own start offset, read off the stream by hand, so following a link drops you at the moment that specific game begins. That offset is the archive's core work and the thing it holds that the source platform does not.
Can I watch battle reports in languages other than English?
Yes. The archive records the language of the commentary and currently holds reports in Chinese, English, German, and Italian. Language filters in combination with army, matchup, format and channel, so you can find German-language games for a specific army without leaving the results list.
Does Librarium Militaris host the videos?
No. Every report links to the original video on the channel that filmed it, with that channel credited by name, and embeds are served through YouTube's no-cookie domain. The archive's contribution is the index: the armies, the commanders, the event, the format, the language, and the exact offset of each game within its source stream.
How can I submit a battle report or correct a mistake?
Write to techpriests@librariummilitaris.com. For a submission, include the video link, the timestamp the game begins, both armies, both commanders and the event. For a correction, name the report and what is wrong with it. Names are transcribed from tournament pairings and channel titles with diacritics preserved, so misspellings are the likeliest error and corrections to them are treated ahead of new submissions.
