The World Team Championship, played by national teams of eight players. Each round pairs two nations and the eight games inside it are scored together, so a result is a team's and not only a player's.

The singles championship run alongside the World Team Championship, and the eleventh edition of the event. Six rounds across two days, followed by a shadow round and a top-four cut to decide the champion.
